EVANSVILLE, IND. – Leadership Evansville (LE) invites community to the 23rd Celebration of Leadership (COL) Awards ceremony, an annual event that spotlights local leaders and organizations for their community contributions. The event takes place on Thursday, March 15, 2018, at the Old National Events Plaza in downtown Evansville.

Fifth Third Bank returns as presenting sponsor for the fourth consecutive year. Court Kull, SVP of Wealth and Asset Management for Fifth Third Bank and current LE board member, applauds COL’s ability to spotlight local leaders. He says, “Celebration of Leadership is a way to recognize people who do things selflessly to improve the Tristate for everyone. More often than not, they are shocked that people in the community find what they do meaningful.”

Fifth Third has partnered with Leadership Evansville since LE began in 1976. Kull explains, “For us, Leadership Evansville presents a unique opportunity to invest in a continuous stream of leaders in our community. It’s a way for us to make an immediate and long-term impact on the Tri-State community.”

This year, 143 individuals, projects and organizations are nominated for COL awards. CEO of Leadership Evansville, Lynn Miller Pease, is excited to highlight Evansville’s community leaders. She says, “Celebration of Leadership does more than celebrate diverse servant leaders transforming community. It is servant leaders. The event brings together hundreds of people who do real work to transform our community in spectacular ways.” The current and past COL nominees are available online.

COL tickets cost $15 for adults and $5 for students and children. If you can’t afford a ticket, reach out to LE staff for assistance. To RSVP, call (812) 425-3828, email [email protected] or head to www.leadershipeveryone.org.
